Superconducting microwave technology is a reliable platform for realization of quantum interactions and development of quantum processors. However, a typical wavelenght in microwave frequency range (~GHz) is several cantimeters. The minimal size of many essential microwave devices, i.e. transmission lines and resonators, are limited by wavelenght. Сonsequently, for constructing large-scale experiments and processors the essential devices should be smaller as possible. Othewise it is extremely hard to make and control a real chip with many components. To reduce the size a parallel-plate capacitance technology could be used. In my talk I will describe the current state of art of this direction.
