Over a decade has passed since commercialization of REBCO coated conductors, during which the quality of REBCO wires has been dramatically improved as Jc performance and uniformity, piece length, mechanical reliability as delamination strength, etc. Winding techniques have also greatly advanced by many kind of test coils for prototype magnets and recently an example of social implementation has achieved as the inner coils for high-field NMR systems of 1.2 GHz class.

We have been concentrated on the development of REBCO conductor production technology by using IBAD and PLD process, which are the oldest HTS vapor process but characterized to have excellent in-field Jcproperties and robust mechanical strain strength, suitable for field magnet. This paper summarize and introduce recent progress and future prospects of high throughput REBCO processing by Hot-wall type PLD with enhanced pining properties by BMO-doping with stable temperature control during deposition, including mechanical reliability evaluation of those wires.

A part of this talk is based on results obtained from a project "Promotion Technology development for Realization of HTS Applications (2016-2018)," consigned or subsidized by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
