(December 10–12) Educational Seminars on Superconductivity (in Japanese and English)
ASCOT will hold seminars on superconductivity to foster young researchers who may become future experts in this field. Besides fundamental lectures on superconductivity and its applications (in Japanese), English lectures on the forefront of superconducting wires, electronic devices and power applications will be given by pronounced researchers from abroad and Japan. Graduate students at Japanese universities and young researchers working in Japanese companies, research institutes and universities can apply to the seminars.

(December 10–12) 12th CHATS on Applied Superconductivity Workshop (CHATS-AS 2017)
CHATS-AS 2017 will be the twelfth in a series of international workshops that have followed the advancements in the state-of-the-art of modeling of superconducting systems, from cables to magnets, power generation and transmission devices, fusion, high-energy physics, and other applications.
(December 11, 12) The 10th International Workshop on Processing and Applications of Superconducting (RE)BCO Large Grain Materials (PASREG 2017)
PASREG2017 intends to bring together scientists active in the field, to enable them exchange ideas and experience in the field, to present achievements on a representative forum, and to co-ordinate further activities.
