The online registration is available from June 15 to November 18, and the payment of advanced registration fees should be made by credit card. Participants who cannot use a credit card for the payment should contact ISS2017 secretariat (ISS2017contact-ml@aist.go.jp). Advanced registration will be closed at 11:59PM (Japanese Standard Time) on Saturday, November 18, 2017.
Participants without advanced registration need to register on-site with cash payment in Japanese yen. On-site registration will open at 9AM on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Pre-registered participants are strongly requested to bring a printout of the registration confirmation E-mail.
Registration fees for participants include attendance at all scientific programs and all symposium materials, but do not cover the banquet event.
Requests to change a registration must be made in writing and emailed or faxed to ISS2017 secretariat. For cancellations, pre-paid registration fees are refundable less a JPY2,000 processing fee if notification of cancellation is received in writing (mail, email or fax) by ISS2017 secretariat no later than November 10, 2017. Cancellations after that date will result in no refund; however, a substitute registrant will be accepted.
Symposium participants from several countries including China, India, Russia, etc. need an effective entry visa to visit Japan. Such participants must contact the ISS2017 secretariat and provide your information necessary for the visa application (your nationality, occupation, birth date, age, your name written on your passport, male/female, schedule of your stay in Japan, flight schedule, contact information in Japan, etc.) well in advance of the symposium. The ISS2017 secretariat will send documents required for visa application to pre-registered participants.
